Per Timo's request, here are a couple of possible entrants, if I ever get them finished up. One needs tiller tweaking, both need a finish. Pics are in the ABC album of course.

<P>I hope the bendy handled bow makes weight for ya, looks like a contender. The composite bow looks sweet, oughta cause the judges some exercise.</P>

The BBO might make it, if not I might throw another together now that I know it will hold together. Posssibly add a bit more R/D. This one was done as an experiment and for a buddy who wanted a turkey hunting bow. He's engaged now though and isn't in need of the bow for turkey season. Piking might be an option, the outer tips are somewhat stiff and there's a bit of reflex. As I ponder the full draw, I do have a few more degrees before I'm maxed out at 90. Piking a bow that is already at a 90 degree string angle, is a losing proposition in my experience.

I thought I was in the club at the ATARN site with my hornbow, then they found out I used resorcinol and it was back on the bench next to the litterers and father-rapers (obscure Arlo Guthrie reference).
I was waiting for a hat comment. You know its 35 degrees here? That is a fine Columbia chapeau, ear flaps are "in" here in MO. Styles probably lag behind down there. |

Dano its what the young hip crowd wears. Your straw Panama is timeless though.
Tim, neither of these has a shelf. I'll probably wrap the handle on the BBO and put something on it to act as a locator on the right side. The hornbow's string tracks a little closer to one side, making it a better righty bow anyway. |
