ok ,ladies and gentlemen, the years hog harvest in ohio is down from last year.( 3 ) total harvested this last year in zaleski state forest from confirmed reports.
i feel it is my duty to check out the situation myself and give you'all a full report. on ST.Patricks day a group of us from work have a full days chase planned for these sneaky rooters near OAK HILL ,OHIO.these hogs are said to be not only pure breds but also mixed with domestic hogs also.from local reports these hogs are believed to be in they're breeding season with the young at around 50 to 80lbs,idea bean pot size or throw em on the spit size, regardless of your dining preferances,i'm thinking goooood eatin on any account.the only down fall to this planned excursion is the fact that we will be carrying firearms but due to the factthat this is unchartered waters for most of us this is not an entirely a bad ideal from my standpoint.

ok,i've got an update!there are wild hogs in ohio, seen plenty of sign, saw one road killed hog,big ,nasty, looking critter, aint no doubt that there are hogs here but we never did catch up with them.sorry i'm not adding anymore detail but i've got a bad head cold and on the verge of head shootin myself to relieve the pressure,i'll answer any questions as they come in though.had my heart set on a 60lb pig in a big pot of brown beans cooked over a fire in a big cast iron kettle.woooowee.
