hi all....

I'm planning to go for camping out and want to have a hunting around. Just wanted top ask that how far should I set my camp from the hunting sport.. Any suggestions....
Hi Bob,

I suppose it depends on what you're going to hunt. The spookier the animal you're after, the farther away your camp's going to be. One of the biggest deer I've taken was about a twenty minute walk from an establlished, well used hunting cabin.

I've read stories about doing a spike camp for an elk hunt where the guys woke the next morning to find elk in their camp. Another where a grandfather-grandson hunting together cold camped about eight hundred yards from their intended stand only to get out of their sleeping bags before day light the next morning and find elk bedded within forty yards.

So, what exactly are you going to be hunting?

Thanks for you reply...
I think that is something that entirely vests upon what you are going to hunt. If you are going to hunt an animal deep inside the jungle, chances are that you may get a rare beast or you may get yourself killed (just kidding) however, always be on your guard and the best bet would be to hunt as a group if you are going to hunt and set the camp deep inside because you never really know what is really coming for you!
