Welcome, and thank you for checking out TradArchers' World, the magazine dedicated to traditional and primitive bow making that also features how-to articles on making the traditional archery equipment that complements our bows and arrows, including quivers, tabs, armguards and strings. The magazine is balanced off with some history, bowyers' interviews, hunting adventure stories and articles about having fun in the traditional archers' world.
Hours with draw knife and scraper had passed; piles of shavings littered the floor. Progression through various grits of sandpaper was complete. Hands ached and fingers cramped from the detailed work that does not come regularly enough to one whose profession mainly involves a keyboard. The smooth-arcing, silkysmooth piece of wood would finally propel a wooden shaft.(Winter 2009)

I hear, “What is that? I didn’t even know that there was such a
thing.” I then explain what archery golf is and how I’ve enjoyed it
for more than 40 years. (Summer 2009)
As the sun set on the final evening of the hunt the doe stopped to survey the field. Bob froze, needing her to advance just a bit more for a 15 yard shot. Seconds turned to minutes, and his knees turned to jelly. Finally, just as he could take it no longer, the doe stepped forward and offered a broadside shot, and just maybe a perfect ending to perfect week. (Winter 2008)
